even the raindrops
sound happier as they dance
a tarantella
beautiful valley
capturing the whispers of
all my hopes and dreams.
in an ideal world
there'd be no such thing as pain
but i am bleeding
heavy heart
the curtains remain drawn
on a lost world
we're aliens
in their world; yet we walk
and they just can't see

- Have been writing since small and still get a buzz from being published. Very happily married to husband Steve, have four lovely grand-children whom I adore a gorgeous cat who is very sensitive to my moods.
With these - I have done away with capitals and full stops altogether. One of the things I love about haiku is the fact that you can experiment with them and breathe new life into them - simply by eliminating anything that is expendible.
